KAI Access is a mobile application developed and published by PT Kereta Api Indonesia that not only for ticket sales but also provides features for ticket cancellation, reschedule ticket, purchasing local train ticket, reservation intercity train ticket, and also e-boarding pass.
This project was created as part of my mini bootcamp held by Kak Aulia Nadila. As the team leader, my main responsibility was to make sure that everyone stayed on track with their tasks starting from research, conducting interviews, create product design, prototyping, and usability testing.

The main goal of this case study is to understand the needs, obstacles, and behaviors of users who purchase train tickets in KAI Access, specifically for the economy premium class.
We conducted a user interview session to explore the problem in detail and identify its underlying cause. We interviewed a total of five users. Prior to conducting the interview session, we prepared a set of research questions that we wanted to discuss with each participant.
Our target users are those who are aged 18-25 years old and have been using KAI Access for the last 3-6 months. These users are likely to be tech-savvy and are familiar with the ins and outs of our app. They have been using our app for a considerable amount of time, which means that they have developed a certain level of loyalty towards KAI Access.
